Maytav - Jerusalem Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders
Maytav, Jerusalem Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders, is the only free-standing clinic of its kind in Jerusalem which offers a full range of services in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing rehabilitation for adults.
Maytav's clinical directors are Sharon Ron and Miriam Levi. We are licensed Speech Language Pathologists with American, Canadian and Israeli certification. We each have a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and between us have more than 25 years of clinical experience treating the adult and geriatric populations.
Our Mission
At Maytav, we use standardized assessment batteries and evidence-based treatment protocols to provide the highest quality care for our patients, including support and training to their families. We are proud of our professional and ongoing relationships with referring physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues in rehabilitation.
Our goal is to help the patient achieve a maximum level of functional independence in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing.
Maytav is located in the Terem Clinic in Beit Hatayelet in Talpiot and provides service to adults between the ages of 18-120 with neurogenic communication and swallowing problems. Our clinic is centrally located and is wheelchair accessible with free on- site parking. Maytav also offers home care services in the Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh and Gush Etzion areas.
