What is the cost of therapy?
The cost of therapy depends on where the therapy is offered (clinic or home), whether it is an initial evaluation or a therapy session and it depends on the frequency of therapy. Contact us for your precise details.
How many treatments are required?
The number of treatments required depends on your speech diagnosis, the severity of your problem, and the type of treatment you require. We can generally make a prediction of how many treatment sessions you will require once we have performed the initial evaluation. Call us and we will discuss your particular situation with you.
Will my kupat cholim subsidize the cost of the treatment?
Every kupat cholim subsidizes treatment differently depending on the medical diagnosis and how much time has passed since the initial cause of your problem (for example stroke.) For Macabi patients who are approved for home care, kupat cholim will subsidize the cost of home care visits entirely. For other kupot cholim, the cost is usually partially subsidized when there is a doctor’s referral. Contact us for more information about what your kupat cholim may reimburse.
